Dinner Date at Cinnamon Shore

K: We spent Easter weekend at the beach and had gorgeous weather the entire trip, as opposed to our last trip here. Brandon and I were adamant about getting reservations at a delicious bistro called Lisabella's in the community of Cinnamon Shore. This quaint little village has muted blue beach homes, all trimmed in white. The fresh feel coupled with the salty breeze in the air made this a perfect evening dinner and we were able to watch the sunset as we explored the neighborhood afterwards. It was a nice reminder that sometimes, the best dates are just the classic dinner date at a favorite restaurant.

A Nautical Day at Lake LBJ

K: This past weekend, we went to a nautical bridal shower for my sister Elizabeth and her almost-husband Kevin. We first celebrated their engagement back in February (you can see our post here) but today was exciting because they are less than thirty days away from the wedding! We took a short drive up to Lake LBJ and spent the day by the water with wonderful friends and family. It was such a nice change of pace and the nautical theme of the party plus the gorgeous Spring weather had us wanting to stay the entire weekend.

Graffiti in Austin, Texas

K: We are so excited to finally share these photos! Embarrassingly enough, Brandon and I had the idea for this post back in January and we just had the photoshoot a couple of weeks ago. This look is very "edgy" for the two of us and is completely atypical from our usual style; however, Brandon and I are always willing to try something new and I think that his leather jacket and my sheer floral dress are unique items that we both fell in love with.

Day Date in the Park

K: We hinted at a story in Wednesday's blog post (you can see it here) and we're excited to share with you how these amazing photos happened serendipitously. Taking pictures of the two of us is always a struggle. Brandon and I are picky with our photography and as a couple blog, we want to make sure that we have plenty of photos of us together. While strolling the fields at Wild Seed Farms, I approached a stranger to snap a few photos of us among the beautiful red poppies.

Wildflower Season in Texas

B: Just East of Fredericksburg, Texas lies the conservatory of Wild Seed Farms. This farm the combination of a flower nursery, winery, and ecological safe haven to beautifully blooming wildflowers and plant varieties native to the state of Texas. Katherine and I made this stop a necessity in our exploratory tour of Fredericksburg not only for the raw beauty of the flower blooms, but also to witness the rich agricultural background of this up-and-coming tourist town. Anyone visiting South-Central Texas needs to spin through Fredericksburg for the sights, sounds, and amazing tastes of traditional German cuisine.

Get Organized: Life Planner + $10 OFF

Last week during our Get Organized series we talked about utilizing meal planners and even gave you a beautiful, free meal planner template. This week, we're continuing with a focus on the Life Planner by Erin Condren. First, let me just say that I am obsessed with my planner! This is not a sponsored post but out of every single planner I've ever had (and I've had a LOT), this one is my absolute favorite! I take it everywhere with me and would probably be lost without it. I'm a firm believer that a great planner helps to make your life better and more organized.
